Synopsis

This warmhearted fantasy follows three elderly business partners who, on a whim one Christmas Eve, invite two lonely young strangers to dinner, sparking a romance between them. After a tragedy, the old men return as benevolent spirits to guide and protect the couple they brought together. With veteran character actors Harry Carey, C. Aubrey Smith, and Charles Winninger, it is a gentle, sentimental holiday tale in the vein of the Topper films.

Why It’s Free: The Public-Domain Story

Behind the Scenes

Reception & Legacy

A modest production in its day, Beyond Tomorrow has been rediscovered by classic-film fans as a charming, gently supernatural seasonal gem, often programmed alongside other vintage holiday favorites.
